About the role
ABIS is looking for a skilled Lathe Machinist (Oil & Gas) to join our manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating lathe machines to fabricate and modify precision components used in the oil and gas industry. This role requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications. You will ensure machining operations are carried out efficiently while maintaining high quality and safety standards. Experience in oil and gas machining is highly desirable.
Responsibilities

Set up and operate lathe machines to produce precision parts for the oil and gas sector.

Interpret and work from engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications.

Perform measurements and quality checks to ensure parts meet required tolerances.

Maintain and adjust machines to optimize performance.
