Job Description
As a Security Officer Full Time Access Provisioning in Gardner, KS, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor entry points, verify access credentials, and support a welcoming environment for employees, visitors, and contractors. You will help deter incidents through a visible presence, conduct routine patrols, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. What You’ll Do:
•
Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
•
Monitor and control access to manufacturing and industrial facilities, including verifying credentials, issuing visitor passes, maintaining access logs, and directing authorized personnel and vehicles.
•
Respond to access-related incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as needed.
•
Conduct regular and random patrols of facility entrances, production areas, offices, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized access and identify unusual conditions.
•
Document daily activities, incidents, and access-control concerns in accordance with site-specific requirements.
Minimum Requirements:
•
Customer service experience is preferred.
•
CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
•
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
•
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
•
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
•
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
•
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
•
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
•
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
