About the role
The Site Reliability Engineer will be part of the Platform Operations Global Team, responsible for managing cloud-based infrastructure and services for the custom Java-based and third-party applications stack in KION Group IT. The person will take responsibility for developing, operating, and improving our infrastructure and services, contributing significantly to the IT Services delivered by KION Group IT

Responsibilities

Act as a facilitator between our stakeholders and development teams.
•
Being SME and Automatize key components, application deployments, and repeating jobs.
•
Ensure the platform availability, stability, and compliance with KION quality standards.
•
Monitor and operate 3rd Party and custom Java application stack.
•
Improve KION IT Services reliability:
•
Facilitate blameless postmortems,
•
Derive measures,
•
Maintain and work on the issues backlog.
•
Evolve Monitoring dashboards and alerts. Measure reliability based on SLOs.
•
Manage the onboarding of new 3rd party / SaaS solutions to the Team.
•
Take over custom-built applications from Projects to the Team.
