• Full-time, fixed-term appointment from January 2027 until January 2028
• HEW 8 - $117,650 p.a. plus up to 17% superannuationPosition closing date: 22/11/2026

As the Senior IT Security Specialist, you will provide advanced technical expertise and advice to help protect the University’s digital assets. You will be responsible for ensuring that all security systems are up to date and functioning properly, and that any security incidents are promptly investigated and resolved.
Responsibilities
You will:

provide authoritative technical leadership, specialist guidance and escalation support across complex IT security matters;
•
develop and implement IT security procedures and processes;
•
conduct comprehensive security assessments to identify, evaluate and prioritise vulnerabilities and potential security risks; and
•
apply specialist expertise to undertake investigations into cyber attacks, data breaches and other security-related events;
