Overview
Edgewater Federal Solutions is seeking a Ruby Developer to support a major national laboratory.
Responsibilities
•
The successful candidate will work with a team developing and/or maintaining web-based applications using tools such as Ruby on Rails or Java.
•
You will analyze functional business applications and design specifications for functional activities
•
Translate detailed design into application systems
•
Test, debug, and refine applications to produce the required product
•
Prepare required documentation, including both program-level and user-level documentation
•
Enhance applications to improve performance and add functionality; and provide technical direction to engineers to ensure program deadlines are met.
Qualifications
•
BS/BA and 5years of experience in Linux environments, relational database, experience in HTML, CSS, Javascript, Data Structures, and Algorithms.
•
Or in lieu of degree 11 years of related work experience
•
US. citizenship is required
•
