Position Overview:
Ensures the safety and security of patients, guests, employees, and property by enforcing policies and procedures in a professional and courteous manner. This role includes general security duties and specialized canine handling responsibilities.

EDUCATION:
•
HS-High School Diploma or General Education Diploma (GED)
CERTIFICATION & LICENSURE:
•
DL - Valid Driver’s License if required to operate Sutter Health vehicles
•
PSO - Proprietary Private Security Officer
•
CPI - Crisis Prevention Institute certification
•
K-9 Training within 90 days of hire
TYPICAL EXPERIENCE:
•
5 years of experience in Security, Law Enforcement, or Military
•
3 years of experience as a certified K-9 handler
SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:
•

Pay Range is $53.65 to $80.48 / hour
The posted pay range is based on the position’s primary work location. Candidates who reside and work outside of that location may be subject to a different pay range based on their work location. Candidate starting salaries consider multiple factors, including, but not limited to a candidate’s experience, education, skills, licensure, certifications, departmental equity, training, and organizational needs.
