Europcar Mobility Group is looking for a results-driven B2B Business Development Manager to accelerate our growth in the local SME market across Belux.
This is a role for someone who enjoys winning new business, building relationships from the ground up and turning prospects into long-term customers. You’ll identify and approach new SME opportunities, open doors, lead commercial conversations and close deals with the autonomy to shape your own territory and directly influence your results.

Your Mission: Hunt, Win, Hand Over
As our B2B Business Development Manager, your mission is simple: win new business.
You’ll own the full sales cycle for local SMEs across Belgium and Luxembourg from self-sourced prospecting and converting leads from our local stations, to understanding customer needs, negotiating contracts and closing deals.
Once an account is signed and successfully implemented, you’ll hand it over to our Account Management team and get back to what you do best: identifying new opportunities, opening doors and winning the next deal.
You’ll have the autonomy to build your pipeline, develop your territory and turn your commercial drive into measurable business growth. It’s a role for someone who enjoys the thrill of the hunt, knows how to build strong customer relationships and is motivated by results.
And you won’t be doing it alone. You’ll work closely with our local network and wider B2B teams, giving you the support, expertise and mobility solutions you need to turn opportunities into lasting business.

The Team
You’ll join our B2B Sales team, working alongside colleagues across Business Development, Account Management and Pricing. Each role has a clear focus, but together we own the full journey from winning a new customer to growing the relationship.

B2B Business Development / Hunter: Your focus is new business. You’ll identify and win new B2B customers, with a particular focus on local SMEs across Belgium and Luxembourg.
•
Account Management / Farmer: Once a customer is up and running, the Account Management team takes the relationship forward, developing the account and identifying opportunities for long-term growth.
•
B2B Pricing: Our pricing specialists support the team with competitive, commercially relevant solutions that help us win and retain B2B business.
Your role is to open the door, win the business and hand over a successful new customer to Account Management.
Key Responsibilities
As a B2B Business Development Manager, you’ll own new-business acquisition across Belgium and Luxembourg. You will:
•
Proactively source and open doors with SME decision-makers across Flanders, Wallonia and Luxembourg.
•
Build and manage your own pipeline through outbound prospecting, networking, referrals and local market opportunities.
•
Convert high-intent leads generated by our network stations into active, revenue-generating B2B contracts.
•
Understand customer needs and position the right mobility solution, turning business challenges into compelling commercial propositions.
•
Lead end-to-end negotiations from first conversation through to contract signature, winning new customers and growing market share.
•
Hit and exceed monthly and quarterly targets, with a clear focus on new revenue, conversion and customer acquisition.
•
Maintain full pipeline visibility in Salesforce, ensuring accurate activity tracking, forecasting and deal execution.
•
Work closely with our local stations, Pricing and Account Management teams to ensure a smooth transition from prospect to customer.
What We’re Looking For
We’re looking for a commercially driven B2B sales professional fluent in Dutch, French and English who enjoys creating opportunities, opening doors and winning new business.
You’ll bring:
•
Proven experience in B2B sales, ideally with small and SME customers.
•
A strong track record in prospecting, new-business development and closing.
•
Confidence engaging decision-makers and building relationships from the first conversation.
•
Strong negotiation, influencing and closing skills.
•
A proactive, entrepreneurial and self-motivated approach.
•
The ability to understand customer needs and translate them into relevant commercial solutions.
•
Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage a high-volume pipeline effectively.
•
A results-oriented mindset and genuine motivation to achieve and exceed targets.
•
The ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with Account Management, Pricing and our local network.
•
Experience using CRM systems and sales performance tools; proficiency in Salesforce is essential.
Experience in mobility, automotive, travel or another customer-focused industry is an advantage, but sales drive, new-business experience and the ability to win customers are what matter most.
