Job Description
Overview
We are seeking a motivated Mechanical Engineer having 5 to 7 years of experience to join our Water Infrastructure team. This role offers hands-on working in designing mechanical equipment and systems that support water and wastewater treatment and distribution infrastructure.
Your role
•
Own and direct teams who undertake technical design work following relevant design standards and codes, and to high-quality levels.
•
Defining briefs, scopes of work, and lead bid proposals.
•
Successfully manage time and budgets to key project milestones and programmes.
•
Work closely with teams in the UK and overseas to deliver integrated design solutions.
•
Setting quality assurance standards in design.
•
Grow, develop and manage electrical engineering capability within the practice.
•
Comprehensive knowledge in mechanical equipment, such as pumps, blowers, screens and chemical dosing plant as well as deep understanding of current UK & US design standards and working practices.
•
Proven as a strong technical leader in the multidisciplinary delivery.
