Client: Construction Estimator

Working Hours: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM EST
Compensation: $1,500–$2,500 USD/month, depending on experience

About the Company
The client is a growing heavy civil construction company specializing in asphalt paving, earthwork, and related construction services in Florida.
The company is expanding its bidding capacity and is looking for an experienced Construction Estimator to join its team. This is an opportunity to work closely with an established estimating team and take ownership of complex bids from plans and specifications through submission.
What They’ll Do
•
Perform takeoffs and bid preparation from plans and specifications
•
Handle RFIs (Requests for Information), submittals, and revisions
•
Coordinate with subcontractors and vendors—including persistent follow-up to meet bid deadlines
•
Manage pre-construction support and site coordination documentation
•
Use Bluebeam, WinX Grade, and Heavy Bid (or similar estimating software)
•
Review complex public bid packages with detailed specs to ensure compliance
•
Self-perform cost analysis for heavy civil and asphalt paving scopes
•
Support site visits or provide effective onsite communication (with client support for site visits when remote)
