Primary Responsibilities:
Design, engineer, and maintain secure, scalable, enterprise cloud infrastructure platforms that support mission‑critical applications and meet stringent operational and regulatory standards.
Architect highly available, fault‑tolerant cloud solutions that align with resiliency, continuity, and recovery objectives while ensuring maximum system uptime and performance.
Develop and implement infrastructure‑as‑code, automation pipelines, and standardized deployment patterns to reduce operational risk, improve consistency, and accelerate delivery.
Integrate advanced security controls, identity and access management, network segmentation, and zero‑trust principles into all platform designs to ensure compliance and minimize exposure.
Lead cloud cost‑optimization efforts, monitor consumption trends, identify savings opportunities, and support observability engineering including logging, monitoring, and performance tuning.
Drive disaster‑recovery architecture, validation, and testing for cloud platforms. Execute vulnerability remediation, patching, configuration hardening, and continuous compliance activities.
Serve as a senior escalation point for complex cloud incidents, conducting deep‑dive root cause analysis and implementing durable corrective actions across platform services.
Lead enterprise evaluations of cloud technologies, tools, and vendors, influencing platform strategy, sourcing decisions, and long‑term architectural direction.
Mentor and develop junior and mid‑level platform engineers by providing technical leadership, reviewing solution designs, and setting engineering best practices.
Collaborate with Enterprise Architecture to ensure cloud solutions align with long‑term technology strategy and reference architectures, leveraging strong expertise across compute, storage, networking, and identity services.
Performs other related duties and projects as assigned.
