We are currently looking for a Systems Engineer Intern to join our team in Canton, MS. The Systems Engineering group supports manufacturing, supply chain, and facility operations by helping specify, design, install, and support communication, control, quality, and monitoring systems. This internship provides hands-on experience working with software development, systems integration, automation, and emerging technologies that support critical manufacturing operations. Interns will have the opportunity to collaborate with experienced engineers while contributing to projects that enhance production processes and operational efficiency.
A Day in the Life:
•
Collaborate with engineering teams to design, develop, and deploy new technology solutions and proof-of-concept projects.
•
Develop software applications using multiple programming languages to support manufacturing and facility operations.
•
Design, build, and maintain databases that support system integrations and operational processes.
•
Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, coding, testing, deployment, and troubleshooting.
•
Support continuous improvement initiatives through automation, data analysis, and systems enhancements.
