About the role
Role Overview:
Join a well-established global MNC where you will collaborate closely with Manufacturing, Operations, Maintenance, EHS, and Quality teams. The primary focus is to optimise manufacturing processes, enhance operational efficiency, and support safe and reliable plant operations at Jurong Island.
Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
•
Plan and coordinate daily production processes to ensure high-quality products and achieve production and financial objectives.
•
Oversee and assess existing processes and workflows to identify opportunities for improvement.
•
Identify process bottlenecks, conduct investigations, and recommend practical solutions.
•
Collaborate with other departments on site to minimise non-conforming materials and maximise production capacity.
•
Provide process engineering support to improve plant quality, capacity, and SHE (Safety, Health, Environment) performance.
•
Develop and track process metrics to identify improvement opportunities and monitor upgrades.
•
Support the development of process design and construction activities for capital projects under supervision.
•
Implement and monitor initiatives under the energy improvement plan.
•
Optimise productivity by designing, implementing, and testing new procedures.
•
Prepare reports documenting process status, changes, findings, and improvement proposals for management.
•
Review and renew operational capacity and strategy based on historical production data.
•
Develop operating instructions, risk assessments, and training materials for production activities.
•
Provide guidance to less experienced staff and contribute to departmental KPIs.
