The service provider will work in closest possible collaboration with the Political Strategy and Communication unit to deliver on the communication projects covering INTPA/EC priorities as well as programmes within the financing cycles (2021 – 2027; 2028 – 2034). Different projects and services will be aiming at a large spectrum of audiences - both specific (e.g., journalists, stakeholders) and general (e.g., development community, young people) in the EU and in partner countries.
In exceptional cases, some overtime/working on the weekends will be needed. In such cases, a contingency budget has been foreseen.
• Support the coordination and implementation of the Global Gateway showcasing digital experience / exhibition.
• Liaise with colleagues within the Directorate-General, other Commission services, EU Delegations and external partners in order to request, collect and follow up on the submission of relevant content and supporting materials.
• Receive, register, review and screen submitted materials, including texts, photographs, videos and other communication assets.
• Assess the relevance, completeness, thematic fit and technical quality of submitted materials against the applicable editorial and communication criteria.
• Rewrite, edit and adapt texts in English in line with EU institutional communication standards, editorial guidelines and project-specific requirements.
• Review photos, videos and other audiovisual materials to ensure their suitability in terms of theme, quality, format and usability for the final digital product.
• Verify that content can be used in compliance with applicable copyright, licensing, attribution and reuse requirements.
• Organise, structure and upload content in the relevant digital environment and/or content management system (CMS), ensuring consistency, completeness and correct categorisation.
• Contribute to the preparation of a coherent and user-oriented digital experience, including the structuring of content by project, region, theme or other relevant criteria.
• Carry out quality control checks before publication or integration into the final product.
• Perform functional, editorial and usability testing of the final digital experience / exhibition, including checks on navigation, display, links, content rendering and overall user experience.
• Identify issues, inconsistencies or missing elements and follow up with the relevant stakeholders to ensure timely corrections.
• Report on progress, risks, bottlenecks and outstanding issues affecting delivery.
• Contribute to the validation and acceptance process of the final product.
