In data engineering at PwC, you will focus on designing and building data infrastructure and systems to enable efficient data processing and analysis. You will be responsible for developing and implementing data pipelines, data integration, and data transformation solutions.
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Fabric Data Engineer – Senior Associate to join our dynamic team. This role is ideal for professionals with 4–6 years of experience in cloud data engineering, particularly within the Microsoft ecosystem. You’ll play a key role in designing, developing, and optimizing data solutions using Microsoft Fabric and Azure services, while contributing to cutting-edge data architecture strategies.
Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
•
Architect and implement scalable data solutions using Microsoft Fabric Cloud Architecture
•
Design and develop data pipelines using Azure Synapse, Synapse Spark, Azure Data Factory, or Synapse Pipelines
•
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver solutions in consulting or professional services environments
•
Apply best practices in CI/CD using Azure DevOps and Git
•
Build and maintain robust data models aligned with Data Mesh, Data Warehouse, and Lakehouse architectures
•
Write efficient and optimized code using T-SQL, PySpark, Python, Scala, Power Query M, or DAX
•
Develop interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI and automate workflows with Power Automate Apps
•
Ensure data security and identity management with a basic understanding of Microsoft Entra
