About the role
We are seeking talented software engineer with a strong foundation in optical communications to join our team. You will leverage commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) products to develop customised systems that orchestrate, monitor and optimise optical communication networks to meet stakeholders’ needs.
Responsibilities
•
Conceptualise, design and develop advanced optical communications solutions by integrating in-house developed component and COTS products.
•
Develop middleware and control planes to interface software applications with optical appliances.
•
Conduct research and development (R&D) on the latest and upcoming optical communications systems to address evolving security challenges.
•
Opportunities to evaluate new products and wide range of interesting optical communications technologies.
Requirements
•
A degree or professional qualification in Computer/Electrical engineering or equivalent qualifications.

Proficient in JavaScript or Python, familiar with message brokers and REST API design and good understanding of microservices architecture.
