Wieland is hiring a 2nd Shift Machine Operator. The Machine Operator will be responsible for machine operation and product quality while also assisting with overall warehouse operations as needed. This role is located in Texas City, TX and will be fully on-site.
Starting Pay: $21.00 per hour
Shift Differential: $1.25
Schedule: Monday- Friday 2nd shift (2:45 pm - 11:15 pm)
Pay: Weekly
Responsibilities
Machine Operator Responsibilities:
•
Create and maintain a safe, organized, and clean working environment.
•
Responsible for the set-up, process, and maintenance of CNC Machines.
•
Machine Material into finished product at varying tolerances.
•
Operate machinery in a safe manner to ensure quality product.
•
Inspect material before and after operation for imperfections.
•
Load and unload product from the machinery for processing.
•
Assemble, rebuild, setup, maintain, and operate equipment.
•
Cranes, forklifts, hand tools, etc.
•
Inspect inventory and product orders for accuracy.
•
Report product discrepancies to management.
•
Perform all applicable SOP’s, JSA’s, and QAP’s.
•
Actively communicate with teammates.
•
Operate forklifts to move material.
•
Other Operations tasks as assigned.
Machine Operator Qualifications:
•
