Carilion Clinic is seeking a full-time Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to join the behavioral health team at Carilion St. Albans Hospital. A Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) is preferred; however, qualified Family Nurse Practitioners (FNPs) and Physician Assistants (PAs) with an interest or experience in behavioral health are encouraged to apply.
This position offers a consistent schedule of three 12-hour shifts, 7:00 a.m.–7:00 p.m., Friday through Sunday, providing four days off each week.
St. Albans is dedicated to meeting the behavioral and mental health needs of patients in a supportive, team-based environment. The program includes a 36-bed inpatient behavioral health unit as well as a thriving outpatient practice, providing a strong continuum of psychiatric care.
As an APP, you will work as an integral member of a collaborative behavioral health team and report to the Section Chief. You will have the opportunity to develop meaningful relationships with patients, contribute to individualized treatment plans, and work alongside experienced behavioral health professionals committed to improving patients’ quality of life.
