About the role
We are seeking a sharp, detail-oriented Cost Construction Estimator with 5 to 10 years of hands-on construction management experience across schools, hospitals, and federal/public sector projects. In this hybrid role (2-3 days week in Anaheim, CA), you will be critical to project success—producing accurate cost estimates from pre-construction through completion. The successful candidate is self-motivated, nimble, responsive, and inclined to work without direct supervision.
Key Responsibilities
•
Estimating & Cost Analysis: Develop comprehensive conceptual, schematic, and final estimates, quantity takeoffs, and budget models for public building projects nationwide.
•
Value Engineering & Risk Management: Identify cost-saving opportunities and potential project risks early in the design and planning phases.
Requirements
•
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a closely related field (Required).
•
Experience: 5–10 years of professional construction estimating experience for a cost consulting firm, construction management firm, or general contractor (Required).
•
Sector Expertise: Proven track record working on schools (K-12/higher ed), healthcare facilities, federal government and public sector buildings (Preferred).

Certified Professional Estimator (CPE)
•

•
