Essential Duties and Responsibilities
1.
Adhere to purchasing policies and practices to ensure highest quality, appropriate inventory levels, timely delivery, and competitive cost from suppliers.
2.
Execute strategic sourcing plans to support company objectives.
3.
Identify risks to SEL’s supply chain and report to management; including overall market trends, capacity constraints, commodity risks, and business conditions for manufacturers and suppliers.
4.
Create and improve supplier partnerships by identifying areas for improvement, escalating issues to management and executing corrective action plans in accordance with World Class Manufacturing principles.
5.
Demonstrate business professionalism, purchasing fundamentals, time management, data analytics, supply chain management, supplier development, cost reduction strategy development and negotiation techniques.
6.
Follow and apply SEL Values, Principles of Operations, and World Class Manufacturing Principles.
