As Change Manager, you’ll take ownership of the end-to-end change process, coordinating activities from initial submission and risk assessment through to authorisation, scheduling, implementation, validation, and post-implementation review. Working closely with technical, operational, project, and supplier teams, you’ll ensure changes are assessed appropriately, governed effectively, and delivered with minimal disruption to services.
The role will involve leading Change Advisory Board (CAB) governance, preparing high-quality information to support decision making, facilitating reviews, and ensuring agreed actions are completed. You’ll maintain the forward schedule of change, identify potential conflicts or high-risk periods, coordinate communications, and escalate risks that could impact service continuity.
A key part of the position is driving continual improvement. You’ll help align Change Management practices with wider ITIL disciplines including release, incident, problem, and configuration management, while developing governance controls, reporting frameworks, and performance measures that support informed decision making and regulatory compliance.
You’ll also be responsible for producing meaningful management information and insights through governance reporting and KPI analysis. This includes monitoring change success rates, failures, emergency changes, rollbacks, compliance levels, lead times, and service impacts. Using Power BI, you’ll develop and enhance dashboards, analyse data from multiple sources, and help maintain the accuracy of change and Configuration Management Database (CMDB) records.
