About the role
Come and join our team as a Veterinary Technician in our Internal Medicine Department!
Fetch Specialty & Emergency Veterinary Centers is family-owned and committed to providing the highest quality care to pets in our community. As a Veterinary Technician in our Internal Medicine department, you will work closely with our team of experienced veterinarians and technicians to provide comprehensive medical care to pets with a variety of complex internal medicine conditions.
If you are a veterinary technician who loves long term guest relationships, and has a passion for communication and patient care, this might be the ideal job for you! Responsibilities include all aspects of patient care and diagnostics, as well as assisting with specialized procedures, administering and monitoring anesthesia, administering treatments, maintaining medical records and of course, providing compassionate communication and education to our guests.
Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
•
Associate’s degree in veterinary technology preferred
•
Certification as a veterinary technician is preferred
•
Strong understanding of veterinary medical terminology and procedures
•
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
