The Engineering Manager is responsible for leading a team of engineers and technical professionals to deliver high-quality engineering solutions, products, and services that support MKS business objectives. This role provides technical leadership, people management, project execution, and strategic direction while fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
The Engineering Manager will partner closely with global engineering, operations, product management, manufacturing, quality, supply chain, and business leaders to ensure successful execution of engineering initiatives and alignment with organizational priorities. The role is accountable for team performance, resource planning, employee development, project delivery, and operational excellence.

Skills You Bring:
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related technical field.
• 5+ years of engineering experience with progressive technical and leadership responsibilities.
• 3+ years of people management or technical team leadership experience.
• Experience leading cross-functional projects and geographically distributed teams.
• Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Skills:
• Experience in semiconductor equipment
• Experience supporting global engineering organizations.
• Knowledge of product development, quality systems, and engineering lifecycle processes.
• Experience with project management methodologies and business process improvement initiatives.
Physical Demands and Working Conditions:
• Ability to sit and work at a computer workstation for extended periods.
• Ability to use laboratory equipment and occasionally lift and move electronic equipment or test fixtures up to 25 pounds.
• Work is performed in office and engineering laboratory environments.
• Regular use of electronic test equipment and prototype hardware for product development, validation, and troubleshooting activities.
