Job Description
•
Ultimately responsible for the interface with component manufacturers, distribution channels, and contract manufacturers to identify suppliers, execute contracts, and negotiate costs
•
Execute purchasing responsibilities to maximize supply continuity, growth potential, and profitability of the business unit (BU)
•
Coordinate and build strong relationships across the organization with Asia-based supply chain, engineering, and product development functions
•
Manage the existing supplier base including driving continuous improvement to key metrics including cost reduction, lead time, service level, quality DPPM, payment terms, and inventory
•
Support new product development by working with a cross-functional team that includes Engineering, Marketing, Quality, Operations, and Finance to successfully develop and execute new product launches
Job Requirements
•
