Responsibilities
•
Study building plans and blueprints to understand specifications and requirements
•
Measure, cut, thread, and bend pipes using appropriate tools and equipment
•
Fit and assemble pipes and tubes according to specifications
•
Inspect and test pipe systems to identify leaks or other issues
•
Install supports, valves, and control systems for pipe systems
•
Collaborate with engineers, architects, and other technicians to ensure efficient installation and maintenance
•
Adhere to safety protocols and regulations throughout the pipe fitting process
Requirements
•
Proven experience as a pipe fitter
•
Demonstrated knowledge of pipe fitting techniques and procedures
•
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
•
Proficient in using pipe fitting tools and equipment
•
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
•
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
•
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
•
Good physical stamina and dexterity
•
Valid certification or license in pipe fitting (if applicable)
