ABOUT THIS ROLE:
Behind every sample in Natera’s labs is a patient waiting on a result, whether that’s an expectant parent, someone monitoring their cancer, or a transplant recipient. The ExHS team supports those labs outside normal business hours, when production issues still come up and Lab Operations still needs answers. As Manager of Data Analysis, you lead one of the shift teams and work the queue alongside your analysts. You take on escalations yourself, review code, and help the team through difficult analyses, knowing that faster answers mean faster results for patients and their providers. You also set objectives, track SLAs, and represent the team in stakeholder meetings.
The ideal person for this position is an experienced, hands-on data professional who has managed a team in a regulated lab or healthcare setting, is still comfortable writing SQL and Python, stays calm under pressure, communicates clearly with both technical and non-technical partners, with a strong sense of ownership for patient outcomes.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

•
Lead and mentor the specific ExHS shift team, fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and collaboration.
•
Measure, report, and continuously improve team operational effectiveness.

Operational Excellence
•
Ensure timely and accurate resolution of production escalations data analysis tickets.
•
Train and coach team members on new technologies, procedures, and guidelines/best practices.
•
Enforce operating procedures for compliance, quality, and efficiency.
•

•
Proactively manage stakeholder expectations.
•

•
Effectively and correctly escalate issues encountered to other DSPE teams.
