About the role
ABOUT THE JOB
The Construction Intern has exposure to and opportunities to work in a variety of construction management areas. This role works in an incredibly fast-moving business and has the opportunity to make valuable contributions.
The Tepa Companies 2027 Intern Program is a paid opportunity for the duration of 12 weeks. Depending on your workload and school schedule, the work schedule will be approximately 40 hours per week in the San Antonio, TX office location.
Responsibilities
•
Assisting with field execution support of construction projects.
•
Assisting with estimating, scheduling, developing bid packages, issuing RFI’s, and coordination of submittals.
•
Observing and supervising construction activities.
•
Assisting with project close out activities.
•
Learn about the Support of our Field Staff.
•
Interacting with design professionals and construction management teams.
•
Assisting with tracking and forecasting project budgets.
•
Assisting with safety enforcement.
•
Organizing and attending project meetings.
•
Performing other duties as assigned.
Requirements
