Research Topic:
The goal of this thesis is to work on an EMI measurement setup for 13.56 MHz RFID systems and investigate both the physical setup and the calibration methodology required to achieve repeatable and accurate measurements.
•
Analyze measurement methods and emission limits
•
Select and integrate suitable measurement equipment (EMI receiver/spectrum analyzer, loop antennas, cables, preamplifiers)
•
Implement the measurement environment
•
Develop a calibration concept
•
Assess measurement uncertainty and critical setup parameters including grounding, shielding, and receiver settings
•
Validate the setup using reference sources and perform measurements
•
Document the setup, calibration procedure, and achieved measurement accuracy
