As a Software Engineering Intern on the Core Service Infrastructure team, you will help design, develop, and enhance the critical platform services and APIs that power eSign Authentication and Authorization to the Signing Ceremony. In this role, you will work closely with senior engineers and mentors to build secure, highly reliable, and scalable backend services handling millions of daily signing and recipient authentication workflows. You will gain hands-on experience across the software development lifecycle—contributing production-ready code, writing automated tests, enhancing observability, and participating in agile ceremonies. This is an internship role for 5 months of duration. This position is an individual contributor role reporting to the Senior Manager, Software Engineering. Responsibility Collaborate with mentors and engineers to develop, test, and maintain high-performance RESTful APIs and backend microservices supporting access management and presigning authentication flows Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code (C# / .NET) along with comprehensive unit and integration tests to ensure reliability and security Instrument services with logging, telemetry, and metrics to monitor service health, debug issues, and ensure operational readiness across environments Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, code reviews, design discussions and cross team collaboration Document technical designs, system workflows, and APIs, concluding the internship with a presentation and demonstration of your completed project to the team and key stakeholders
