Summary
The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the overseeing day to day operations and efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods. This role ensures productivity targets are met and maintains a safe, secure, and organized warehouse environment.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
•
Monitor and manage daily operations to ensure efficiency and adherence to company policies and procedures.
•
Implement and maintain effective inventory management systems to optimize space utilization and reduce costs.
•
Coordinate with procurement and production teams to ensure timely and accurate supply of materials.
•
Enforce safety and security policies to maintain a safe working environment for all employees.
•
Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices to enhance warehouse operations.
•
Supervise and coordinate the activities of warehouse staff.
•
Ensure proper documentation of all inventory transactions, including receipts, shipments, and adjustments.
•
Monitor shipment tracking and resolve any delivery issues or delays promptly.
•
Coordinate regular maintenance and inspections of equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation.
Education & Certifications
•
High school diploma or equivalent required
Work Experience
•
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in warehouse management or supervisory role, preferably in the natural gas compression industry.
