In line with our increasing business, we are looking for qualified and experienced candidates for Project Manager Substation to join our South-East Asian T&D team and be based in our Malaysia office in Kuala Lumpur.
Job Description
Responsibilities
Your scope of work will include the following regarding solar PV and wind power projects:
•
Provide civil and structural design inputs in conceptual design studies, feasibility studies and technical due diligence assessments for renewable energy projects
•
Prepare technical specifications related to civil and structural works for solar PV and wind power projects, to be used for tendering purposes
•
Act as the Owner’s Engineer responsible to check EPC compliance to the Owner’s Technical Specifications related to design of civil and structural works
•
Review and comment on the EPC’s civil and structural design documents including drawings, specifications and design calculations
•
Participate in design review meetings
•
Coordinate with Owner’s Engineer site engineers for any civil and structural site issues related to design
Qualifications

•
Bachelor/Master’s Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering.
•
At least 5 years’ experience in Civil works design and Structural Design, with at least 2 years spent on engineering design or design reviews. Experience in Thermal Power plant, solar farm and wind farm projects will be an advantage.
