Job Description
D&A is looking for role of Senior Mechanical Engineer who applies engineering principles to design, develop, test, and improve mechanical systems and components. This role involves collaboration with cross-functional teams, interpreting technical specifications, and ensuring compliance with performance and safety standards.
Specific Responsibilities
•
Interpret and apply technical drawings and CAD models.
•
Design and develop mechanical components and assemblies using tools like Solidworks or an alternative CAD system - Creo.
•
Analyze customer design proposals and specifications to assess feasibility, cost, and maintenance requirements.
•
Modify existing designs to improve performance, manufacturability, or cost-efficiency.
•
Investigate equipment failures and recommend corrective actions.
•
Collaborate with engineers, suppliers, and manufacturing teams to resolve design issues and ensure smooth implementation.
•
Support prototype development and testing, including documentation and reporting.
•
Maintain quality control and reliability standards throughout the design lifecycle.
Your Knowledge, Skills, and Experience
•
