About the role
J&L Beef is currently seeking a Sanitation Worker for our Cloverdale facility, on a part time basis.
Responsibilities
•
You would be responsible for ensuring the production facility is cleaned and sanitized in a timely fashion in accordance with HACCP & CFIA regulations.
•
You could expect to be lifting and moving products from area to area, using high pressure hot water hoses to wash machines; clean-up tasks such as garbage removal and other activities related to food processing.
•
You will need to be comfortable handling raw meat such as chicken, beef, and turkey, comfortable working in a humid, wet environment, and working in a fast-paced environment. Training will be provided.

This is a Unionized position with a progressive wage scale, regular wage increases and benefit package that includes, medical, dental, extended health, life insurance and a company pension plan.
Schedule: Monday to Friday - 8:30 pm – 5:00 am with possible overtime daily
Starting Wage: from $18.00 per hour + plus night shift premium of .65 cents per hour
