Responsibilities
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE
•
Design, develop, test, and maintain high-quality distributed applications within the FORTNA Warehouse Execution System (WES) platform.
•
Participate in the architecture, design, implementation, and delivery of scalable warehouse automation and execution solutions.
•
Collaborate with Product, QA, Infrastructure, and Services teams to deliver reliable and maintainable software solutions.
•
Provide remote support, troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis for both new WES solutions and legacy WCS systems.
•
Contribute to system reliability, performance optimization, scalability, observability, and operational excellence.
•
Develop and maintain RESTful APIs, event-driven integrations, microservices, and enterprise application components.
•
Assist QA and Infrastructure teams in test automation, deployment validation, packaging, and release activities.
•
Participate in code reviews and contribute to engineering best practices, coding standards, and technical documentation.
•
Support project customization efforts and assist implementation teams during customer deployments.
•
Travel occasionally to customer sites to support solution qualification, testing, and go-live activities when required.
•
Continuously learn and adopt new technologies, tools, and engineering practices, including AI-assisted software development tools.
•
Share technical knowledge with team members and actively contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
