About the company
Imagine what you could do at Apple. Here, new ideas have a way of becoming great products, services, and customer experiences very quickly. Bring passion and dedication to your job and there’s no telling what you could accomplish! The watchOS Apps team is looking for a software engineer to help shape the future of Apple Watch. You’ll build first-party apps, complications, and other experiences, including as Timers, Weather, Home, and Compass. Your work will be experienced by millions of Apple Watch users every day.
Description
As a member of the team, you will work closely with Design, Marketing, Quality Assurance, and other Engineering teams to help define the future of our products. You’ll take collaborative ownership of the development and quality of critical first-party apps and experiences on watchOS. You’ll adopt new APIs early and help shape their ergonomics by giving feedback to the teams that build them. Much of this software runs continuously and works within a small power and memory budget, so reliability, power, and memory are part of each feature rather than follow-up work. Curious and resourceful people who take an expansive view of their role will thrive in this multidisciplinary environment, where you’ll have the opportunity to collaborate with experts across Apple.
