Senior Sales Operations Associate - Uber Careers
About the role
Location: Madrid, Spain
About the role and team
Sales at Uber means navigating ambiguity, earning trust fast, and solving problems that don’t come with a script. As a Senior Sales Operations Associate, you will be a key analytical partner to our Go-to-Market leadership, building the models and frameworks that drive our commercial engine. You will sit at the intersection of strategy, data, and execution, translating complex business questions into practical sales strategies that improve productivity and marketplace health.
This role is for a data-driven operator who thrives in the “messy reality” of a fast-growing business and can stay calm under the pressure of tight deadlines. You won’t just report numbers; you will own critical planning cadences, manage territory disputes, and troubleshoot process inefficiencies to ensure our sales teams are set up to win. If you have a “roll-up-your-sleeves” mentality and the analytical intuition to find signals in unstructured data, this is where you’ll grow.
What you’ll do
•
Own sales planning and semi-annual quota setting in partnership with Finance to ensure revenue targets and key operating metrics are achieved
•
Establish and manage complex sales performance dashboards that provide transparency and strategic oversight to global leadership teams
•
Analyze large sets of unstructured data to evaluate the economics and opportunity costs of programs, driving smarter selection and coverage models
•
Influence and enforce rules of engagement across selling teams to resolve conflicts around territory assignments and attainment crediting
•
Develop and maintain SQL-based automations and data tools that streamline workflows and reduce manual effort across the commercial organization
•
Design and implement scalable pricing or incentive frameworks to optimize deal-making and enhance the bottom line
•
Partner cross-functionally with Product, Marketing, and Legal to champion strategic projects and deliver data-backed recommendations
Basic Qualifications
•
Minimum 5 years of experience in Sales Operations, Business Analytics, Commercial Strategy, or Financial Planning.
•
Advanced proficiency in SQL for handling large, unstructured datasets and synthesizing business insights.
•
Proven experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau) and CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce).
•
Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field such as Economics, Mathematics, Finance, or Business Administration.
Preferred Qualifications
•
Experience within B2B, SaaS, or consumption-based marketplace businesses.
•
Strong project management skills with the ability to lead multiple competing workstreams using tools like Asana or JIRA.

•
Proven ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders and C-level executives.
