Key Responsibilities
•
Inspect, diagnose, repair, and rebuild various pumps (centrifugal, gear, diaphragm) and related equipment (motors, compressors, valves).
•
Perform routine preventative maintenance and troubleshooting.
•
Assemble and disassemble rotating equipment.
•
Operate specialized repair and testing equipment.
•
Install and maintain pump systems.
Required Skills & Qualifications
•
Technical**:** Strong mechanical aptitude, pump/motor assembly, use of pressure gauges, flow meters, hydraulics.
•
Experience**:** Varies by level (e.g., assisting others for entry-level, fabrication for senior).
•
Tools: Ability to own and maintain personal tools.
•
Soft Skills: Problem-solving, attention to detail, reliability, teamwork, client service.
•
Certifications (Optional): OSHA safety training, relevant technical diplomas.
