About the role
While reporting to the Senior Human Resources Manager, the Plant Administrator serves as a key support resource for the Human Resources team performing a variety of HR administrative functions while also providing administrative support to other departments across the facility. This role is responsible for welcoming and assisting visitors, answering phone calls, and general office duties such as ordering office supplies, meals, etc.
What you’ll be doing:
•
Assists employees with onboarding processes, documentation, and I-9 verification; helps employees with Workday login and navigation and explaining and enrolling employees in benefits.
•
Leads plant orientation programs, engaging with HR team and plant leadership and work to improve program within plant.
•
Assists in managing random drug testing, pre-employment, and background check process.
•
Supports hourly payroll function and looks for opportunities for process improvement.
•
Processes new hourly hires, including issuing badges, updating timekeeping information, and finalizing hire information.
•
Holds employee training including new hire orientation and annual safety training.
•
Assists in administering FMLA program by tracking leave and issuing forms and information to employees.
•
May support activities within other sites and projects related to and not limited to corrective actions, recruiting, and performance management.
•
Maintains office operations by performing clerical functions such as ordering meals, ordering office supplies, coordinating company functions/meetings, and answering and directing incoming calls.
•
Greets visitors, ensuring they follow proper visitor protocol and safety requirements.
•
Other duties as assigned.

You have a minimum of 2 years of general HR or administrative experience.
•
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
•
Proven experience in time and attendance and working with HRIS (Workday, UKG, etc.).
•
Have a high level of integrity, trust, and ethical standards.
•
Ability to maintain confidentiality of employee issues and data.
•
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities. Attention to detail and accuracy.
•
