The Corporate Communications team manages the global reputation of Point72 across media relations, external and internal communications, digital content, and brand management. Interns gain exposure to research and content creation - including media monitoring, competitive audits, branded recruiting and digital content, event planning, and bespoke projects - working closely with senior management and functional leaders firmwide.
The Compliance team supports the firm’s global investment and trading activities by establishing and enforcing the firm’s compliance policies, providing real-time advice, and conducting pre- and post-trade surveillance. Interns will gain exposure to enforcing the Code of Ethics and personal trading programs, liaising with global regulators, maintaining the firm’s restricted list, and performing due diligence on research providers, consultants, and trading counterparties.
The Corporate Finance team provides timely, accurate financial information, advice, and services to business partners across Corporate Accounting, Global Payments, Procurement, FP&A, and Financial Reporting. Interns will gain exposure to day-to-day activities such as the month-end close, investor risk reports, and consolidated monthly financial packages, while sharpening Excel, writing, and presentation skills through intensive mentoring.
The Trade Support team, part of Operations, supports the operational aspects of trade processing, reconciliation, financing, and reporting for all products across global markets - equities, derivatives, bonds, foreign exchange, and futures. Interns will gain exposure to working with traders and counterparties to resolve trading matters and help provide accurate books and records for the firm on a daily and monthly basis.
The Strategic Implementation team leads complex, cross-functional initiatives that support the growth of Point72’s businesses, partnering with Strategy, Finance, Legal, Compliance, Operations, and Technology. Interns will gain exposure to the end-to-end program cycle —
coordinating meetings and deliverables, building project plans and timelines, documenting current state, conducting root cause analysis, and developing playbooks for key activities.
The Corporate Strategy team is a small, multidisciplinary group reporting to the Chief Operating Officer that identifies, designs, and executes value-creating cross-functional initiatives and engages in new business and special situations. Interns will gain exposure to strategic priorities by supporting analyses on operations, performing quantitative and qualitative research (competitive analysis, industry trends, market conditions), and providing project management support on key initiatives.
The Regulatory Reporting team provides governance across all regulatory filings and obligations globally, including submissions to the SEC, CFTC, NFA, MAS, FCA, SFC, and Kanto Finance Bureau. Interns will gain exposure to filing preparation and submission, execute data reconciliations and exception investigations, partner with Compliance, Legal, Finance, Risk, Technology, and Trading, and help identify automation opportunities that improve accuracy and reduce manual effort.
The Treasury team supports the firm’s credit and treasury functions across Central Funding, Securities Lending, and Broker Relations—verifying and disputing margin calls, reporting on counterparty exposure, investing excess cash, and negotiating margin terms with prime brokers and derivative counterparts. Interns will gain hands-on exposure to a wide range of financial instruments across global markets while working alongside senior treasury professionals.
The Human Capital team serves as trusted business partners and advisors within the Point72 community, committed to driving a distinctive culture that values collaboration, innovation, and adaptive performance. Interns will gain exposure to day-to-day HR operations including onboarding, employee records, and benefits administration, along with recruiting and interview coordination, HR reporting and project work, and compliance and privacy best practices for handling confidential information.
The Legal team works to deliver exceptional legal services in a manner that promotes the firm’s performance with the utmost integrity and supports all Point72 groups globally with practical advice on a variety of complex legal and regulatory matters in an ever-changing, dynamic environment. Interns will gain exposure to regulatory filings and obligations, drafting and updating firm policies, due diligence reviews, and industry best-in-class automation and data visualization tools that support the department.
