Description
•
maintaining sanitary equipment and environment for production of food products
•
operating, monitoring, and understanding the CIP systems and COP systems
•
manually and hand cleaning valve and equipment parts
•
operating and maintaining equipment in the CIP room
•
perform preventative maintenance on valve and pump equipment
•
maintaining accurate written HACCP reports and preventative maintenance checklists
•
responsible for organizing and structuring personal needs around the business to accomplish goals in an effort to meet deadlines
•
coordinating with the Parts department to ensure that valve and pump equipment supplies are on hand

Work Environment
Wet to damp environment, working with high pressure hoses, cleaning chemicals, COP and CIP systems. Noisy work environment that requires hearing protection. Industrial strength chemicals are used on a nightly basis. Temperatures vary from 35 - 100 degrees

Year End Bonus
To reward associates for their contributions to the company for the calendar year, Publix provides a Holiday Bonus in November. In the first year of continuous employment the bonus is equal to 15 hours of pay, and in the second year of continuous employment the bonus is equal to one week’s pay if associate remains employed through issue date of the bonus check. In subsequent years, the bonus is equal to two weeks’ pay.
