About the role
We’re looking for an Experienced Full Stack Developer to design, code and manage Similarweb’s large-scale and highly available services, using cutting edge technologies & design.
The position is within the Incubation team responsible for innovating and developing new Similarweb products, operating with the entrepreneurial spirit and dynamic atmosphere reminiscent of a startup within our organization.
This role will report to Team Manager, R&D.
Here’s what your day will look like:
•
Design, code, and manage large-scale, highly available services using cutting-edge technologies.
•
Tackle tough problems and find creative ways to solve them.
•
Determine feasibility by performing risk management and evaluating tradeoffs.
•
Lead decision-making & design of APIs, mechanisms, and abstractions.
•
Build new features and directly impact the future of our product end to end (frontend, backend, tests, monitoring, etc.) and cross platforms.
•
Write high-quality, functional code – backend and frontend.
•
Improve your skills, learn from and mentor top-notch engineers and enrich other team members.
•
Perform code reviews, evaluate implementations, and provide feedback.
•

Here’s what you’ll need:
•
B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Computer Science or a related field;
•
4+ years of backend engineering and hands-on experience with web technologies;

Infrastructure: Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP or Azure), containerization (Docker), and orchestration (Kubernetes, Terraform, Helm, Argo).

•
Experience with at least one large UI framework (react, angular, vue);
•
Experience with databases;
