Research Specialist B: Perform experiments using a variety of techniques. The position requires assisting the principal investigator with wet-up of new laboratory space, including ordering, set-up and maintenance of supplies and equipment, and assistance with transfer of laboratory protocols, laboratory website, and other new lab logistics as needed. The position also requires laboratory purchasing, including obtaining quotes from sales representatives and selection of optimally priced laboratory reagents.

Conduct laboratory research, troubleshoot problems, analyze data, design new research experiments along with research publications, and prepare presentations.
