About the role
FHLBank Chicago is seeking a Summer Intern to within the Financial Accounting & Markets (FAM) team. This team is responsible for developing, overseeing, monitoring, and reporting on strategic and operational transformation initiatives across FAM, as well as administering and optimizing key finance systems that support critical business processes.
This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain exposure to finance transformation, business process improvement, enterprise systems administration, data analytics, and organizational change management. The intern will work closely with team members to support initiatives that enhance operational efficiency, strengthen reporting capabilities, and improve the user experience of FAM technologies and processes.
How You’ll Make an Impact
As a Summer Intern, you may:

Learn about FAM processes and how they are operationalized in current state.

Learn about FAM systems and how they support FAM’s processes.

Work on enhancing reporting of FAM transformation initiatives through data analytics.
