Job Description:
The Nebraska Department of Transportation is now hiring winter temporary maintenance workers! Whether you’re looking for temporary work for extra income through the winter months or looking to test out a new position prior to making a long-term commitment, we encourage you to apply! Pay rate of $20.39 to start. Those who possess a current and valid CDL will start at $21.953 and will assist in winter operations and snow removal.
Hiring Locations: Aurora, Central City, Fullerton, Geneva, Grand Island, Greeley, Hastings, Hebron, Kearney, Loup City, Ord, Osceola, Ravenna, Red Cloud, St Paul, Superior, and York. Winter positions, temporary, until March 31, 2027. Hours may depend on the weather and may be more or less than 40 hours per week.
