Position Summary…
The Senior Manager, Belonging, helps develop and carry out strategies that support Walmart’s business goals and strengthen the experience of associates across the company. This role works closely with senior leaders and teams across the business to understand challenges, identify opportunities, and develop practical solutions that help associates feel valued, supported, and included.
Using data, research, and feedback, this leader helps guide important business decisions, improve how teams work together, and develop programs that can be used across the organization. The Senior Manager builds strong relationships, leads complex projects, and helps turn company goals into clear plans and meaningful results.
You will help Walmart turn its belonging goals into practical actions that support associates and the business. By bringing people together, using information to guide decisions, and finding better ways to work, you will help leaders solve important challenges, strengthen teams, and create opportunities for associates to grow and succeed.
What you’ll do…

Lead Strategic Projects: Develop plans and guide projects that support Walmart’s global goals and priorities. Set clear goals, organize work, manage timelines, and help teams deliver results.

Advise Business Leaders: Work with senior leaders and Global People (Human Resources) teams to understand business challenges, recommend solutions, and make informed decisions that support company goals.

Use Data to Find Opportunities: Review workforce information, business results, research, and industry trends to identify challenges, understand what is working, and recommend improvements.

Turn Insights into Action: Explain findings and recommendations in a clear, practical way. Help leaders understand their options, consider different viewpoints, and make decisions based on facts and business needs.

Support Global Belonging Goals: Help develop and carry out strategies that strengthen belonging across Walmart. Consider the needs of associates, business priorities, and differences in local laws, cultures, and business environments.

Build Strong Partnerships: Work with Global People, business leaders, subject matter experts, and other teams to share information, solve problems, agree on priorities, and deliver results together.

Create Practical Solutions: Identify better ways to work, develop new programs and resources, and create solutions that can be used across different teams and areas of the business.

Bring People Together: Lead discussions, planning sessions, and team activities that encourage people to share ideas, learn from different perspectives, and find solutions to shared challenges.
