About the role
We are looking for an experienced AS400 / COBOL Life/Asia Developer to support application development, system enhancements, implementation, and production support activities within the insurance domain. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in Life/Asia, COBOL development, and AS400 environments.
Key Responsibilities
•
Design, develop, test, and implement solutions within the Life/Asia application.
•
Perform coding, unit testing, troubleshooting, debugging, and production support activities.
•
Support day-end, month-end, and ad-hoc batch processing activities.
•
Analyze business and functional requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
•
Deliver system enhancements, defect fixes, and project initiatives within agreed timelines.
•
Ensure compliance with SDLC, change management, security, and governance processes.
•
Participate in code reviews, version control, and quality assurance activities.
•
Work closely with business users, vendors, and project stakeholders to ensure successful delivery.
Requirements
