Our business relies heavily on technology to support operational excellence, customer service, logistics, warehousing, finance, and communications across multiple sites.
About the role
We are seeking a proactive, hands-on IT professional to take ownership of the company’s IT infrastructure, systems, telecommunications, ERP environment, and technology vendors. This is a broad and varied role requiring someone who is equally comfortable solving day-to-day support issues as they are leading strategic technology projects.
Location: Ballycoolin, Dublin 15 (moving to Dunshaughlin, Co Meath very soon!)
Reports to: Group Financial Controller / Senior Management Team
Key responsibilities:
•
Act as the primary point of contact for IT support, resolving hardware, software, network, and connectivity issues.
•
Manage and maintain IT infrastructure across six sites, including servers, networks, cloud services, backups, and security systems.
•
Own and support the company ERP system, coordinating issue resolution, upgrades, integrations, and ongoing optimisation.
•
Administer Microsoft 365, user accounts, licensing, security settings, access controls, and compliance requirements.
•
Manage IT suppliers, service contracts, telecommunications, software licensing, cloud platforms, and cybersecurity providers.
•
Maintain IT asset registers, equipment lifecycle management, procurement, deployment, and stock control.
•
Implement and promote cybersecurity best practices, including endpoint protection, MFA, user awareness training, GDPR compliance, and access management.
•
Lead technology projects, system upgrades, business improvements, acquisitions, infrastructure enhancements, and site integrations.
Requirements
Essential:
•
5+ years’ experience in IT management, systems administration, or senior IT support.
•
Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365, Windows Server, networking, cloud technologies, telecommunications, and cybersecurity.
•
Experience supporting ERP/business systems and managing third-party IT vendors.
•
Excellent troubleshooting, organisational, and communication skills.
•
Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and travel between Ireland and UK sites.
•
Full driving licence.
