Responsibilities
Key responsibilities for this role include:
•
Assist in coordinating electrical/electronic maintenance, repair and installation. Coordinate machine down time for maintenance with Production personnel.
•
Ensure that adequate tooling and materials are available when installations or repair work is done. Prepare appropriate material requisitions for new electrical installations and general repairs.
•
Review requested machine modifications and suggested methods of implementation. When necessary, coordinate with contractors to specify electrical work and to integrate with existing equipment or systems.
•
Ensure that machinery and work area are cleaned after performing maintenance functions.
•
Utilize PC’s, PLC’s and CAD system.
•
Train new Electrical Maintenance personnel as required.
Requirements
The minimum qualifications for this role are:
•
Minimum of a High School diploma or equivalent and minimum of 5 years of experience is required. However, a combination of experience and/or education will be taken into consideration.
•
Must possess a Vermont State Master Electrician License.
•
Must possess applicable knowledge of electrical testing equipment, e.g. ammeters, voltmeter, conduit-bending equipment, power hand tools and hand tools. Plant machinery and equipment, replacement parts, control cabinets, wiring, and conduit.
Benefits
Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. The salary range for this position is $41,000.00 - $93,000.00 USD. This position is eligible for a 15% shift differential for working 2nd Shift.
