Compensation
Hourly base pay rate is $18.17 - $27.31/hour. The hourly base rate may vary within the anticipated range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include commission (annual, monthly, etc.) and/or an incentive program.
Job Description
Are you passionate about customer service, vehicle quality, and delivering an exceptional client experience? We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused professional to support vehicle reconditioning operations while partnering closely with clients and internal auction teams.
What You’ll Do:
•
Provide exceptional customer service skills to ensure client satisfaction.
•
Performs basic client services duties such as monitoring vehicle reconditioning processes, supporting client team.
•
Be able to estimate body repairs on all kinds of different types of vehicles.
•
With assistance from more senior peers and multiple auction departments, recommending and coordinating reconditioning services, and conducting condition report and imaging audits to reduce the risk of policy loss and goodwill expenses
•
Develops a foundational understanding of auction services concepts and methodologies including but not limited to condition report data and the vehicle inspection process.
•
Basic knowledge of computers software including Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Excel, and other internal business technology platforms.
•
Visibly demonstrate safety commitment by following all safety and health procedures and modeling the behaviors related to such.
•
Actively participate in support of all safety activities aligned with Safety Excellence.
•
Perform any other duties assigned
Qualifications:
Minimum:
•
High School Diploma/GED and up to 2 years’ experience in a related field (vehicle reconditioning, auto body knowledge, auction experience).
•
Requires strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
•
Excellent communication skills, detail oriented, self-starter, and time management.
•
Ability to work with minimal supervision.
•
Safe drivers needed; valid driver’s license required.
Preferred:
•
Prior experience in vehicle reconditioning and/or general auto body knowledge.
•
Auction experience
•
Ability to operate vehicles with standard and automatic transmission is preferred.
•
Reconditioning inspection preferred
Work Environment:
•
Constant exposure to outdoor weather conditions. Moderate noise level. 85% outdoors / 15% indoors (admin duties)

To be employed in this role, you’ll need to clear a pre-employment drug test. Cox Automotive does not currently administer a pre-employment drug test for marijuana for this position. However, we are a drug-free workplace, so the possession, use or being under the influence of drugs illegal under federal or state law during work hours, on company property and/or in company vehicles is prohibited.

Employees are eligible to receive a minimum of sixteen hours of paid time off every month and seven paid holidays throughout the calendar year.
