About the role
**Senior Manager, IT Infrastructure
About the company:**
Imperva, a Thales company, is a leading cybersecurity provider delivering best-in-class solutions to protect data and applications across on-premises, cloud, and hybrid environments. Our customers, from innovative startups to Fortune 500 enterprises, trust us to secure their digital experiences at scale.
We’re proud to be recognized as one of Israel’s Top 50 High-Tech Companies to Work For in 2025 (Dun & Bradstreet) and offer a flexible hybrid work model from our Tel Aviv Rehovot office.
The role:
We are seeking an experienced, hands-on Senior Manager to lead a global team of five IT infrastructure engineers located across Israel, the United Kingdom, and the United States. The team is responsible for the design, operation, security, resilience, and continuous improvement of the organization’s on-premises data centers and cloud infrastructure.
As Senior Manager, IT Infrastructure, you will provide both people leadership and technical direction. You will shape the infrastructure strategy, establish priorities, and remain accountable for team deliverables, service performance, operational metrics, and continuous improvement. You will build strong working relationships with key stakeholders across Engineering, Cloud Operations, Product Development, Finance, Cybersecurity, and other business organizations.
We are looking for a proactive leader who continually identifies opportunities to improve reliability, scalability, security, cost efficiency, and service quality. The successful candidate will promote an automation-first culture and apply infrastructure as code, intelligent monitoring, AI-assisted operations, and modern engineering practices to reduce manual effort and improve operational outcomes.
Key Responsibilities

Establish a consistent hybrid-cloud architecture that integrates on-premises environments, data centers, and public cloud services.
•
Identify and implement appropriate AI-assisted automation and AIOps use cases, including event correlation, anomaly detection, capacity forecasting, incident prevention, automated remediation, documentation, and operational knowledge management.
•
Ensure AI-enabled infrastructure solutions are implemented securely and responsibly, with appropriate controls for data protection, access, validation, auditability, and human oversight.
•
Establish and maintain infrastructure security standards, including vulnerability remediation, patch management, identity and access controls, secrets management, network segmentation, and least-privilege access.
•
Lead infrastructure incident response and act as the escalation point for significant business or technical issues related to IT infrastructure.
•
Define and measure team and individual operational metrics against established goals and use the results to drive continuous improvement.
•
Lead capacity planning, technology lifecycle management, disaster recovery, backup, business continuity, and infrastructure resilience initiatives.
