Job Description
This position reports to the Engineering Manager and is a Monday-Friday day shift.
Requirements
Required Qualifications:
•
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mining/Civil/Mechanical)
•
Proficient understanding of engineering principles (soil/rock mechanics, steels design, hydraulics/pump networks, ventilation, conveyors, electricity, economics)
•
Excellent computer skills (AutoCad, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
•
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
•
Ability to manage multiple projects and budgeted accounts
•
Engineer in Training (EIT)
Nice to have
Desired Qualifications:
•
Professional Engineering License (PE)
•
Project Management Professional Certification (PMP)
•
Understanding of continuous and longwall mining methods
